The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in Michelsen Hall in the Noel Fine Arts Center, 1800 Portage St., Stevens Point. The program features pieces that are lyrical or rooted in folksongs as well as a variety of dances from around the world.

The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Michelsen Hall in the Noel Fine Arts Center, 1800 Portage St., Stevens Point. A wide variety of genres will be performed, including swing, blues, Latin, bop and modern, with featured student soloists.

UW-Marathon County, located in Wausau and founded in 1933, is now the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau. UW-Marshfield/Wood County, founded in 1964, is the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Marshfield.
