Budget Forms

Fiscal Years​ run July-June each year. (ex. FY25: July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025​)

**​Due to possible salary increases and composite fringe rate beginning FY26 (7/1/25), if your project crosses over fiscal years, please complete both tabs in the "FY25-FY26 Bridge" budget form and uploaded to your WISPER record.
(For example, grant project dates 5/1/25-4/30/26: expenses 5/1/25-6/30/25 reflected only in FY25 tab, then expenses 7/1/25-4/30/26 reflected only in FY26+ tab.)

  • UWSP Extramural Budget Form, required of grant submissions for external funding​​

    • Project start date 6/30/25 or earlier: use start date through 6/30/25 only in FY25 tab in this form: FY25-FY26 Bridge Extramural Budget Form. If your grant will have expenses 7/1/25 and beyond, reflect seperately in the FY26+ tab of the same spreadsheet. (​​​The totals of each budget category will calculate in the Total tab for reference.)​​​

    • Project start date​​ 7/1/25 and beyond: FY26-FY31​ Extramural Budget Form



  • ​​​Matching Funds Form, required only if matching funds are required for proposal​
    • Match start date 6/30/25 or earlier: use start date through 6/30/25 only in this form FY25 Matching Funds Form

    • Match start date 7/1/25 and beyondany match starting 7/1/25 reflect in this form, to account for possible salary increases & composite fringe beginning 7/1/25: FY26 Matching Funds Form

  • UWSP Intramural Budget Form, required of grant submissions for internal or UW funding (including UPDC applications)
    • Project start date 6/30/25 or earlier: use start date through 6/30/25 only FY25 column in this form: FY25 Intramural Budg​​​et Form. If your grant will have expenses 7/1/25 and beyond, reflect seperately in the FY26 form below​

    • Project dates including 7/1/25 and beyond: any expenses starting 7/1/25 reflect in this form, to account for possible salary increases & composite fringe beginning 7/1/25: FY26 Intramural Budget Form

  • Budget Review Sheet: We encourage PIs to use this worksheet to double check their budget numbers are consistant throughout documentation. The budget review sheet is not required for WISPER upload, but is a helpful tool to use before uploading documents to WISPER for approval.​
