​​​Alcohol and Drugs 
UW-Stevens Point is dedicated to helping students understand how the issue of substance abuse affects academic, social, emotional, and physical wellbeing. This work is led by the Center for Prevention.

Bias and Hate Incidents
As an institution dedicated to engagement, responsibility, respect, inclusivity, and civil discourse, UW-Stevens Point is committed to ensuring a safe, welcoming community for students, faculty, staff, and guests. Acts of bias or hate are an offense against us all and will not be tolerated at UW-Stevens Point.

Care Team
Our office manages Care Teams for each of our campuses in an effort to coordinate support for students in distress, including to address potential threats of harm to self or others.

Concerns and Resources
There are many great resources on campus and in our community to support students in need. If you don't see a particular type of resource, contact our office and will do our best to help.

Indicators of Distress 
Students can share their concerns in many different ways. Get to know your students and take time now to learn the various possible indicators of distress.

Care and support of our students is a shared responsibility of faculty and staff at UW-Stevens Point. Our office provides tools and professional developme​​nt opportunities to support you in this work.

Reporting Concerns 
It is important that you always share student concerns with the Office of the Dean of Students. Our goal is to understand what is happening and assist in the coordination of support and resources. We have a number of types of reports depending on the situation or circumstances.

Sexual Assault/Interpersonal Viole​nce​ 
UW-Stevens Point is committed to preventing violence before it happens and helping address the needs of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, sexual harassment, or stalking survivors after it happens. Primary prevention work is coordinated by the Center for Prevention and response by the Title IX Coordinator and the Office of the Dean of Stude​nts​.

Support for Faculty and Staff 
Our office is available for training and consultation about concerning students issues. You can also find help tools as part of our Red Folder Project.​
