To support compliance with mandatory employment training, ensure you are using a UWSP email in accordance with
UWSP account requirements (all faculty and staff must use a UWSP account for work purposes; student staff may be required to use a staff account for work).
Faculty/Staff:
If you do not complete a mandatory employment training course by the due date, you will receive a notice from UWSP indicating you are overdue. Your supervisor will be included on the communication(s).
Further escalation steps include communication to you and progressively involving your supervisor, Dean/Director, Vice Chancellor, and/or the Chancellor.
Additional escalation steps include possible impact to pay plan eligibility (or other pay increase eligibility) and/or possible discipline, including termination.
Student Staff:
If you do not complete mandatory employment training within 30 days of notification:
If you do not have a student staff account, you will receive a communication from UWSP indicating you are overdue until you complete the training. Your supervisor will be included on the communication(s).

Further escalation steps include communication to you, your supervisor, your Dean/Director, and your Vice Chancellor. Failure to complete the training
courses includes possible discipline, including termination.
In addition to other consequences, ongoing failure to complete may result in progressive discipline. These escalation processes align with UW System Administrative Policy 1293: Mandatory Employee Training.
