The Biological Safety Officer, Keith Turnquist, assists all faculty, staff, and students in observing safe laboratory practices for biological materials as prescribed by local, state and federal regulatory agencies. This is accomplished through the coordination and collaboration of the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC), Institutional Animal Care and Use Comittee (IACUC), and the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
