Winner of 4 Tony Awards and the GRAMMY Award for Best Musical Theater Album, Some Like It Hot is a “glorious, big, high-kicking” time!

Join us for a classic comedy story with a vibrant, high-energy stage adaption, featuring fantastic tap-dancing, catchy songs, hilarious situations, and a charming cast of characters, making it a great choice for a night of pure entertainment with big laughs and dazzling spectacle; it is essentially the beloved movie Some Like It Hot brought to life with the added flair of musical theater, including stunning costumes and choreography. This trip includes coach bus transportation, dinner at Pullmans, and a seat at the show.

Set in Chicago when Prohibition has everyone thirsty for a little excitement, Some Like It Hot is the “glorious, big, high-kicking” (Associated Press) story of two musicians forced to flee the Windy City after witnessing a mob hit. With gang​sters hot on their heels, they catch a cross-country train for the life-changing trip of a lifetime.

Final payment is due by Wednesday, January 15, 2025. If you have not paid for your registration, you may do so by calling UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education at 715-346-3838, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., to pay by credit card. We accept Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.​​​

Trip Information


The bus ride to Appleton from Stevens Point is an hour, so we will not stop on the way. Also, the bus has a restroom. We will arrive with plenty of time for you to stretch your legs and check out everything the theater has to offer before showtime!  ​

Theater policies


Bag Policy: Bags/purses with dimensions of 8.5x11x5 or smaller allowed but may be subject to search, childcare products (diaper bag, bottles, cups, snacks) (patrons must be accompanied by a child)-subject to search, and prescription medicines and devices allowed-but may be subject to search.  For additional information on the bag policy, visit the Bag Policy page.

Entree Selection - Pullmans At Trolley Square


Select one of the following four entrees (each meal includes side salad, dessert, and soda/coffee/tea): 
  • Trolley Car Salad - Arugula, roasted sunflower seeds, slivered almonds, shredded carrots, red onions, bell peppers, Asian sesame dressing and choice of blackened chicken, sesame tuna, grilled salmon, or no protein. 
  • Maple Bourbon BBQ Burger - Half pound Certified Angus Beef with applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, and onion ring on toasted premium roll with house chips on the side.
  • Walnut Crusted Haddock - Haddock Fillets with Walnut and Parmesan Crusted Topping and wild rice on the side.
  • Tuscan Shrimp - Shrimp, penne, mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, onion, sun-dried tomato, Parmesan, and garlic cream sauce.
