Join us for an unforgettable evening of laughter and music as we head to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton for a comedic musical production of Mrs. Doubtfire! Everyone’s favorite Scottish nanny is headed your way, with Rob McClure reprising his Tony-nominated Broadway performance on tour, alongside co-star (and real-life wife!) Maggie Lakis. This internationally acclaimed hit musical has been praised as “wonderful, heart-warming, and laugh-out-loud funny” by the Manchester Evening News and “a feel-good, family-friendly comedy that delivers” by The Hollywood Reporter.
Directed by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks, Mrs. Doubtfire tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor who will do anything for his kids. It is “the lovable, big-hearted musical comedy we need right now,” raves the Chicago Tribune – one that proves we are better together.
Led by our enthusiastic trip leaders, Anne Rogalski and Kelly Bird, this outing promises to be a delightful experience. The show runs for two and a half hours with one intermission, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the theatrics. After the curtain falls, we will continue the fun with a delicious dinner at Pullmans At Trolley Square, where you can relax and savor the evening’s memories. We are thrilled to have you with us for this entertaining adventure!

Final payment is due by Friday, September 27, 2024. If you have not paid for your registration, you may do so by calling UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education at 715-346-3838, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., to pay by credit card. We accept Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
The bus ride to Appleton from Stevens Point is an hour, so we will not stop on the way. Also, the bus has a restroom. We will arrive with plenty of time for you to stretch your legs and check out everything the theater has to offer before showtime!

Select one of the following four entrees (each meal includes side salad, slice of cheesecake, and soda/coffee/tea):
- Trolley Car Salad – Arugula, roasted sunflower seeds, silvered almonds, shredded carrots, red onions, bell peppers, Asian sesame dressing and choice of blackened chicken, sesame tuna, grilled salmon, or no protein.
- Tuscan Shrimp – Penne, mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, onion, sun-dried tomato, Parmesan, and garlic cream sauce.
- Grilled Salmon – Grilled Norwegian Atlantic salmon, wild rice, and Thai ginger glaze.
- Chicken Alfredo - Grilled chicken, linguine, Parmesan, and Alfredo sauce.
