23rd Annual
College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Research Symposium

The COLS Undergraduate Research Symposium remains a highlight of the academic year and a vivid example of collaboration between students, faculty, and staff to advance the mission, vision, and values of the college and university. This signature event of the College of Letters and Science challenges our students to find solutions to their own questions and develops their ability to grow as critical thinkers. The Symposium has involved 1,500 students across all COLS majors over its 22-year history.

The 2022 symposium will invite students to showcase their research through poster and oral presentations during the annual event. We will also celebrate the UWSP faculty who give their time to encourage, advise and direct the research experience. This year's event features nearly 100 research presentations from the School of Behavioral and Social Sciences, the School of Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry, the School of Humanities and Global Studies, and the School of Mathematics, Computing, Physics and Astronomy.
