Concurrent Sessions 

This year's concurrent session options offer several different topics in each of six time blocks. In addition to the concurrent session offerings, there will also be the Kick-off Plenary Panel, Poster Session and Wisconsin Lake Stewardship Awards on Friday, as well as a Saturday Keynote and Lunch Speaker​. Don't forget to check out all of the other networking opportunities during these two days, and the pre-convention workshop offerings on Thursday (full day, morning, afternoon) and post-convention workshops Saturday afternoon!

Friday, April 24 Concurrent Sessions

Friday, April 24 will include a full day of concurrent session options in the following topic areas:

  • Watershed Ecology: Food Webs & Landscape Ecology
  • Watersheds, Groundwater and Water Levels
  • Aquatic Invasive Species (research findings)
  • People, Policy and Politics
  • Eutrophication and Non Point Source Pollution
  • Public Health and Waters: Exploring the Connections

​Saturday, April 25 Concurrent Sessions

Saturday, April 25 is intentionally geared towards citizens and others new to the Lakes Partnership Convention. Saturdays topics include:

  • Native Plants and Animals
  • Watershed Basics
  • Aquatic Invasive Species (management)
  • Advocacy for Groundwater, Streams and Wetlands
  • Watershed Outreach Success Stories
  • Healthy Lake Organizations: Care and Feeding of Your Organization
  • Public Health and Water
