CORE General Education Requirements
General Education provides the foundation of a university education, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to facilitate intellectual and personal growth, pursue advanced studies, and address challenges ranging from the local to the global. Every General Education course is required to meet
specific student learning outcomes.

Students who metriculate into UWSP prior to Fall 2026 are required to complete the General Education Program (GEP). Students who metriculate during Fall 2026 and after will be required to complete the CORE General Education Program (CGER).
