Sustainability
In stark contrast to the existing seven-story facility, the new building will encourage stair usage and a strong relationship to the outdoors through daylighting strategies. These efforts will create a healthful place to meet, study, and work.
The new facility will include many sustainable initiatives including green roofs, bird collision deterrence on windows, native vegetation, indoor water efficiency, wellness rooms, and the use of recycled and sustainable materials in the construction process and selection of furniture and finishes.
