RAMP is a tool used to communicate and collaborate prior to any grant submission. It allows our office to provide assistance to applicants (known as Principal Investigators, PIs) related to grant documentation, building a budget, and obtaining all necessary UWSP approvals. It also allows proposal materials to be shared and approved by your Dean/Division and Grant Accounting.

Reach out early to our office so we may assist you in planning for your grant submission! Prior to grant submission, documents are submitted to RAMP for approval from Department, Division, Grant Accounting, and UWSP Authorized Official. Additional approvals are required of any federal-originating grant funds.
Even if it appears your grant sponsor is state or foundation, best practice is to check guidelines and/or contact sponsor to verify if funding originates federally, as additional approvals are required. ORSP is able to assist in reviewing the guidlines and reaching out to sponsors for this detail.
