Andrew Cao

Andrew Cao graduated with a BFA and double majors in Musical Theatre and Dance.  Andrew will appear in the original Broadway cast of Disney's ALADDIN in March 2014.  Other Broadway credits: ANYTHING GOES with Sutton Foster and Joel Grey and NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT with Matthew Broderick and Kelly O'Hara. Additional NYC credits include BELLS ARE RINGING at NY City Center Encores; "Curly" in OKLAHOMA with The National Asian Artists Project; FROG KISS at the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). Regionally: "Bernardo" in WEST SIDE STORY at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival and other WEST SIDE appearances at The Atlanta Theatre of The Stars (TOTS), The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera (PCLO), And The West Virginia Public Theatre; "Tommy Keeler in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN at PCLO and The Goodspeed Opera House; ROBIN AND THE SEVEN HOODS at The Old Globe, KISS ME KATE at The Orlando Shakespeare Theater and Repertory Theatre of St. Louis;  ALL SHOOK UP at The Carousel Theatre; "Puck" in  A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM and "Romeo" in ROMEO & JULIET at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey.  Andrew is a proud graduate of UWSP with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BA in dance.  Choreographically, Andrew has done Beauty & Beast, Annie Get your Gun, Joseph..., You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Footloose, and Seussical at The Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre in Colorado. He's done a few independent films in NYC along with a handful of national and international commercials and print ads. Andrew created the movement for "Tyrone" in the 3rd season of the Nickelodeon television show The Backyardigans.
