• FY2025–27 Pay Plan Guidelines

    The Wisconsin biennial budget includes a 3% pay plan increase for FY2025 and a 2% increase for FY2026. The Chancellor has not designated funds for discretionary use.

    Pay Plan Basis

    • FY2025: Calculated based on the employee's base salary at the implementation date (August 10, 2025).
    • FY2026: Calculated based on the employee's June 28, 2026 base compensation rate.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Employees must meet all of the following:

    • Compliance Training: Completion of all required training by published deadlines:
    • FERPA: The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99)
    • Information Security Awareness (SYS 1032)
    • Sexual Violence & Sexual Harassment (RPD 14-2)
    • Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation (RPD 14-6)
    • Mandated Reporting of Child Abuse & Neglect (EO 54)
    • Outside Activity Report: If applicable, completion of the 2024 report per SYS 1290.
    • Performance: Meets or exceeds expectations in the most recent review; not under a performance improvement plan.
    • Employment Status: Actively employed in a faculty, academic staff, limited, or university staff role on or before August 10, 2025.

    Additional Notes

    • Interim/Waiver Appointments: Eligible based on wage at implementation date.
    • New Faculty/IAS (Fall 2025): Eligible.
    • C-Basis Employees: Increase effective August 25, 2025.
    • Promotions: Eligible.
    • Internal Transfers: Eligible based on wage at implementation date.
    • UW System Transfers: Not eligible if not employed at UWSP by August 10, 2025.
    • IAS with Breaks in Service: Eligible if break was less than one year.
    • Layoff/Non-Renewal Reappointments: Eligible.
    • Skilled Trades: Eligibility and calculation per applicable collective bargaining agreement.
    • Leaves of Absence: Eligible if on temporary leave from an ongoing appointment.
    • Ineligible Roles: USTEs, Graduate Assistants, Employees-in-Training, Student Help.
    • Overloads/Summer Contracts: Not eligible.​​​
