Cost is a major consideration when choosing a college. The University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point (UWSP) is committed to providing students an affordable, high-quality education. We recognize that parents are an integral part of the financial aid process. Parents of UWSP students are key partners in the financing of their student's education. We are here to offer counseling to help you, help your student navigate the financial aid process and meet the costs of their education. We know, it's a big decision to go on and pursue a college degree but, we truly believe, by earning a degree from UWSP, it's one of the best investments your student can make.

We encourage you to spend some time reviewing the information and links to pages within the Office of Financial Aid and Veteran Services website. It is our hope that we will provide you with essential information concerning financial aid. Additionally, we have created a FAQ specifically for you!

While most of our communications will be with your student, this website provides you with some of the general information we may be also sharing with your student. We urge you to keep the lines of communication open with your student as the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) limits the amount of information we can provide and share with you.

Most of our communication with your student will be via their university email account so if they haven't activated it yet, you may want to remind them!
