College Is An Investment In You - One Of The Biggest You Will Ever Make
Financial aid can be pretty complicated, especially if you are the first in your family to attend college. Whether you are an incoming freshman, transfer, or graduate student, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the whole process here at UW-Stevens Point. Remember, every school's process is a little different.
The Office of Financial Aid and Veteran Services is available to help you and your family with the financial aid process, military benefits, and assist you in making your high-quality education at UW-Stevens Point an affordable choice. We encourage you to apply for financial aid to determine what assistance you may receive. Our experienced staff is here to help you navigate the aid process and answer your questions. We can also provide information on the various federal, state and private funding options, such as grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans.
Our office is open!
The Office of Financial Aid and Veteran Services is open and in-person appointments are available. We are open to provide walk-in assistance while also answering the phones and responding to emails. However,
we will continue to support you virtually in order to continue to maintain the health and safety of our campus and community with our ability to provide most services virtually including FAFSA 1:1 assistance via ZOOM.
Need to drop off documents?
During normal business office hours, there is a basket right inside the office to drop off documents. After hours, documents that need to be submitted can be dropped off in the Bursar/Deposit drop box located in the basement of the Student Services Center (near room 003) or sent via campus mail from the Information and Tickets office located in the Dreyfus University Center or from each of the residence hall front desks. We continue to take documents through the U.S. Postal Service, fax, and email (if applicable).
