​Welcome to the December 2, 2023, trip to see the Pabst Mansion all decked out for Christmas and A Christmas Carol in the Pabst Theater at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. We will have lunch at the best German restaurant in Milwaukee, Mader’s​.  Kelly Bird and Carissa Delikowski will be your trip leaders.

About the Show


A Christmas Carol is one of the best-known and well-loved stories in the English language. During the course of one memorable Christmas Eve, the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future help Ebenezer Scrooge discover that it is never too late to change his miserly ways. Milwaukee Rep favorite Matt Daniels returns to play Scrooge, as enchanting music, dance, costumes, scenery and special effects will once again fill the theater to tell this timeless tale of love, hope and redemption.​

Pabst Mansion at Christmas


A holiday tradition the whole family can enjoy! Delight in the wonderment of Christmas at the Pabst Mansion where no two Christmases are the same. From glitz and glam to train tracks and teddy bears around the tree, each room each room is decked from tip to mistletoe.​

Registration fee:

  • LIFE Member-Orchestra: $189
  • Veteran-Orchestra: $189
  • Public Attendee-Orchestra: $209

    • ​The trip price includes the coach bus, Pabst Mansion tour, lunch at Mader’s and show ticket.​

Final payment is due by Wednesday, November 22, 2023. If you have not paid for your registration, you may do so by calling UW-Stevens Point Continuing Education at 715-346-3838, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., to pay by credit card.​​ We accept Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.

Bus Transportation  

The bus ride to the Pabst Mansion will be about two and half hours. The coach bus has a restroom.  ​

Marshfield Pick Up

Bus Loading Location: UW-Stevens Point at MARSHFIELD 2000 W 5th St, East Parking Lot behind school off of UW Drive (Parking passes not required) 
Bus Loading Time: 6:00 a.m. (please be on time)  
Bus Departure from Marshfield: 6:15 a.m.  ​

Wausau Pick Up

Bus Loading Location: Marathon County Park, Parking Lot closest to UW-Stevens Point at WAUSAU, 1201 Stewart Ave 
Bus Loading Time: 6:10 a.m. (please be on time)  
Bus Departure from Wausau: 6:20 a.m. ​

Stevens Point Pick Up

Bus Loading Location: Parking lot in front of Dunham's Sports, corner closet to McDonald’s (HWY 10, Stevens Point)

Mader's German Buffet​


At Mader’s we we will have an authentic German Buffet that will include Bratwurst, Knockwurst, and Sauerbraten. Sides will include German Potato Salad, Toss Salad (Mader’s own hot bacon dressing), Warm rolls w/butter, Pickled beets & onion, Roasted Red Potatoes, Spatzle, Red Cabbage, Sauerkraut, and Apple Strudel. A non-alchoholic beverage will be included as well.

Since we make financial commitments in advance, no refunds will be issued for cancellations. However, you may send a substitute in your place. Please email us at uwspceweb@uwsp.edu to inform us of the substitution.
