About the Shows

The Notebook

Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. With a book that has sold millions of copies worldwide and a film that’s one of the highest-grossing romantic dramas of all-time, the musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’s The Notebook comes to Broadway following a critically acclaimed world premiere engagement at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in the fall of 2022.

Spamalot

Lovingly ripped from the film classic, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot has everything that makes a great knight at the theatre, from flying cows to killer rabbits, British royalty to French taunters, dancing girls, rubbery shrubbery, and of course, the lady of the lake. Spamalot features well-known song titles such as “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” “The Song That Goes Like This,” “Find Your Grail” and more that have become beloved classics in the musical theatre canon.

Water for Elephants

This critically acclaimed bestselling novel comes to vivid life on Broadway in a unique, spectacle-filled new musical. After losing what matters most, a young man jumps a moving train unsure of where the road will take him and finds a new home with the remarkable crew of a traveling circus, and a life - and love - beyond his wildest dreams.

The Wiz

Everybody look around, there’s reason to rejoice! The Tony Award®-winning Best Musical that took the world by storm is back. Based on L. Frank Baum’s children’s book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Wiz returns home to the American stage with an all-new adaptation.

Important Notes

  • Traveling within New York City requires frequent walking and stairs. Please be prepared to walk up to a half a mile at a time. Walking several miles in a day is common but can be avoided via subways and taxis. Broadway theaters and New York subways often require some steep stairs. Most of the shows are approximately ten blocks from our hotel.
  • Travelers under age 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • UWSP Continuing Education does not provide travel insurance, medical, or emergency evacuation and thus you are 100% responsible for these expenses. We strongly advise you purchase travel insurance as soon as possible after registering for a trip because some insurance providers only guarantee certain benefits within a short time after you make a travel deposit. We also advise carrying health insurance while on any tour as well.
  • Travelers may want to consider short-term traveler's insurance that covers baggage, accident/life, trip interruption, trip cancellation, and more. Visit Travel Insurance Review to answer any of your travel insurance questions, get tips, and advice, or compare different providers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations of tours must be made in writing up to 91 days prior to departure and will be refunded in full less your nonrefundable deposit. Cancellations made within 90 days of departure will not be refunded.
