Camp Details

Did you know that the world of competitive video gaming is a multimillion dollar industry that has teams, big stars, and upcoming talent - just like traditional sports? Players on these Esports teams generally focus on one game, just like football players, basketball players, or tennis players focus on theirs.  Gone is the line of thinking that video games are a waste of time - science has proven that playing them increases critical thinking, hand eye coordination and so much more!  Esports camp is for any student who wants to flex their competitive spirit, learn the inside scoop on one of the fastest growing spaces in tech, and challenge themselves across a wide variety of genres and games.

Rocket League, League of Legends, Fortnite, & Overwatch are just some of the worldwide titles we will be exploring during the week - get a chance to show off your skills and hone new ones.  Learn about some of the biggest teams in Esports, how streaming & Twitch can help your game, and develop teamwork & communication.

It's Not Just Video Games!

Worried about sitting inside all day and playing video games? The camp experience is about so much more than video games! It's about building friendships and making memories. After dinner, counselors will lead residential campers through fun activities to grow as a team and become closer to each other. Play board games, walk to ice cream shops, participate in yard game tournaments, and so much more!

Use Collegiate Level Gaming Computers!

Experience gaming on collegiate level Esports equipment! Campers will have the opportunity to game on the same computers used by UWSP's Esports team!
