Experience the beauty and culture of Bayfield and Ashland in the summer! This three-day, two-night trip is a perfect getaway to two picturesque towns nestled along the stunning shores of Lake Superior. Explore the Apostle Islands via cruise, indulge in a three-course dinner at Rittenhouse, see a Big Top Chautauqua Show, picnic at Copper Falls, and more! This trip includes two breakfasts, one lunch, one pizza dinner, one three course dinner, one show, two museum tours, two nights lodging, transportation throughout, an opportunity to shop and three tour guides each driving a minivan. Limited to 18 people.

​Anne Rogalski​​

Anne, Associate Director of Continuing Education at UW-Stevens Point, has led trips to destinations like New York, Savannah, Yosemite, and Iceland. An avid traveler and Thousand Miler, she enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs. Anne has previously led two successful trips to Bayfield and Ashland, where travelers experience the charm, culture, and natural beauty of these Lake Superior towns through scenic cruises, local cuisine, live performances, and more.





Mara Prausa​​

Mara Prausa, UWSP Continuing Education Program Manager, enjoys tra​veling with family, friends and UWSP Adventure Tours, leading trips to New York and Acadia. She loves being active outdoors with her two children, husband, and black lab. Some of her favorite travel experiences have included ziplining and whitewater rafting in Costa Rica, kayaking in the Apostle Islands, skiing in Colorado, horseback riding in Montana, and beaching on Sanibel Island.

Kelly Bird
Kelly Bird, UWSP Continuing Education Administrative Assistant, has previously co-led groups to Bayfield, New York City, and Savannah. She loves embracing new cities and see how they different from our everyday lives. Gazing at the natural outdoor beauty to timeless architecture, trying the regional cuisine, touring historical sites or seeing entertaining shows, Adventure Tours offers a variety on all our trips to keep you busy. She looks forward to connecting with fellow travelers, sharing new experiences, and creating engaging, unforgettable adventures together.​

Cancellation Policy​​


Since we make financial commitments in advance, no refunds will be issued for cancellations. However, you may send a substitute in your place. Please email us at uwspceweb@uwsp.edu to inform us of the substitution.
