The lab will be unable to accept samples on the following dates:
  • Week of December 23 - December 27
  • Week of December 30 - January 3

To submit laboratory samples, choose any of the following delivery methods:

  • Drop-off at UWSP – Monday-Friday 7:45 am-4:00 pm
  • Now offering curbside pick-up! Call 715-346-3209 when you arrive on campus.
  • Ship via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or Spee-Dee Delivery services. Some services offer package pickup from your home. (Note: Bacteria samples require overnight shipping early in the week.)

​The Water and Environmental Analysis Laboratory (WEAL) is Wisconsin DNR certified and a state-of-the-art facility capable of analyzing a wide range of constituents, including metals, nutrients, and pesticides. It was founded in 1972 to serve Wisconsin citizens, train students to become future water quality professionals, and conduct water quality research.
