Honorlock exam proctoring is available at no cost to the department for courses that are offered 100% online (synchronous or asynchronous). Any courses meeting that criterion can have Honorlock added to their Canvas site by request at no charge to the department. Please use the request form to have Honorlock added to your 100% online course.

Due to cost concerns, UWSP IT will charge academic units for Honorlock use that exceeds five proctored exams per course per term, excluding the Honorlock Practice Exam or other Simulated Exams. Instructors who wish to proctor more than five exams in one course during one term will need to get departmental approval for the charges. Charges will be calculated based on this formula: (number of students * number of proctored exams in excess of 5 * Honorlock cost per exam session).

Hybrid and face-to-face courses can have Honorlock added at a cost to the department of $6.50 per exam, per student. Honorlock usage in face-to-face or hybrid courses, will need to be planned in advance of usage, and a split purchase order will be issued for our annual charge. It is not possible to provide refunds for unused exams, and exams are good for one academic year. If you determine mid-year that your department needs more capacity from Honorlock, an additional PO can be issued and charged to your account. Honorlock will not be installed in any face-to-face or hybrid courses unless the department has already shared their account information and been listed on the PO.
