HuSTLe Bars

What does it mean to meet people where they are? Sometimes, it means helping them grasp an idea or concept from their specific place of understanding. Sometimes, however, it is a very literal proposition—bringing the learning directly to the audience.

This is where HuSTLe Bars come in. HuSTLe Bars are based on an emerging network of partners dedicated to forest-rooted communities. These HUbs for Sustainable Technology and LEarning, HuSTLe for short, bring resources to the communities that need them. Focusing on sustainability, innovation, and entrepreneurship, HuSTLe Bars support Wisconsin forest product-rooted communities to redirect and reimagine their resources to fill new needs and gain new footholds in the market through industry diversification, new start-ups, and attracting new businesses to the state.

WIST offers a collaboration starting point for a network of participants that includes tribal colleges, technical colleges, government resources, economic development organizations, trade associations and forest products companies, all working together for strategic industry interfacing.

Let us bring the network to you. Contact us today to discuss how the HuSTLe Bar can help you develop new opportunities in the forest products industry.
