UW-Stevens Point, MSTC collaborate on ‘Visions of War’ series
 
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) are collaborating on a series of free public events that highlight the experiences of local veterans.
 
The "Visions of War" series will be held Monday, Nov. 7, through Sunday, Dec. 4, with veterans who served in World War II, the Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War, Iraq War and Afghanistan War sharing their experiences of war through art, film, poetry and discussion.
 
UW-Stevens Point’s Eighth Annual University Evening is also a part of this series. Receptions will follow each of the following events:

    Brian Turner, published and award-winning poet and Iraq War veteran

    Wrap-up discussion with Vets Talk panel, featuring firsthand accounts of war and coming home
