Representatives
of the University of Wisconsin System are seeking public input to help create a
plan for its future.
An
open, online survey, located at www.wisconsin.edu/strategic-planning, is based on input gathered
from leaders in community, legislative, business, education and UW institutions
from listening sessions held around the state. The survey will be available
through Monday, Dec. 14, to allow the public to prioritize common ideas that
came from these sessions.
The
new strategic plan is expected to be complete by spring 2016.
“The
strategic planning process continues to benefit from strong public
participation and stakeholder input,” said UW System President Ray Cross.
“Participants have shown a vested interest in the University of Wisconsin
System and appreciate the opportunity to be part of the conversation. They
provided many excellent ideas for us, and their guidance will continue to be an
important part of the process moving forward.”
Input
is welcome from community members interested in enhancing the UW System. For
questions, please contact Rob Manzke in the chancellor’s office at UW-Stevens
Point, rmanzke@uwsp.edu.
