UW-Stevens Point expert on positive psychology to speak at Phi Kappa Phi colloquium

A University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point professor will share her expertise on positive psychology at the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Spring Colloquium.

Jeana Magyar-Moe, associate professor of psychology and a UW-Stevens Point alumna, will presentIngredients for Human Flourishing: Lessons From Positive Psychology” on Thursday, March 8, at 2 p.m. in Room 210 of the College of Professional Studies Building, 1901 Fourth Ave. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Magyar-Moe’s research interests are varied, but typically revolve around topics related to positive psychology, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and therapy process and outcome. She has taught at UW-Stevens Point since 2003. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UW-Stevens Point and a master’s and doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Kansas.
