UW-Stevens Point offer tours of the Greenest Resident Room

The public is invited to tour Residential Living’s most sustainable room at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point as students continue to be leaders in the university’s sustainability efforts to make this the greenest UW System campus.

Celebrating the room’s third year at UW-Stevens Point, Victoria Bertolami of Algonquin, Ill., is the current resident of the Greenest Resident Room, located in Knutzen Resident Hall, 209 Isadore St. She will host tours of the room on Monday, Oct. 10, from 5–7 p.m., and Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 6–8 p.m.

Bertolami, a senior majoring in watershed management and environmental programmer for Knutzen Hall, will showcase the sustainable products she uses in her daily life as well as the activities she performs in order to reduce excess energy consumption and waste. She was chosen to live an eco-friendly lifestyle at all times of the day during the 2011-12 academic year.

To schedule a private tour or to inquire about future open house dates, contact Knutzen Hall front desk at 715-346-4559 or Victoria at vbert194@uwsp.edu.
