“West Side Story,” a well-known musical that places the story of “Romeo and Juliet” in the gang-filled streets of New York City, tells the story of a young couple who fall in love despite their differing backgrounds. The Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim score is considered to be one of Broadway’s finest, with songs such as “Something’s Coming,” “Tonight,” “America,” “I Feel Pretty” and “Somewhere.” The show includes mature content including violence, race issues, sexual situations and profane language.
