Theatre packages to see “Million Dollar Quartet” at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2012, or “West Side Story” at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, include tickets for the matinee showings and roundtrip coach transportation to the theatre. “Million Dollar Quartet,” a Broadway musical featuring the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins, was inspired by an event in which these four young musicians gathered for a jam session at Sun Records in Memphis on Dec. 4, 1956. The featured songs include “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “That’s All Right,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Matchbox,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Hound Dog” and more. The show includes mature content and strong language.

“West Side Story,” a well-known musical set in the streets of New York City, tells the story of a young couple who fall in love despite their differing backgrounds. The Bernstein and Sondheim score is considered to be one of Broadway’s finest, with songs such as “Something’s Coming,” “Tonight,” “America,” “I Feel Pretty” and “Somewhere.” The show includes mature content including violence, race issues, sexual situations and profane language.
