Works of art as varied and dynamic as the contributors will be exhibited as part of the Art and Design Department Faculty and Staff Exhibition at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Carlsten Gallery.

The exhibit opens Sunday, March 13, and continues through Sunday, April 10. A reception will be held at the gallery from 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 14. The Carlsten Gallery is located on the second floor of the Noel Fine Arts Center on the UW-Stevens Point campus.

Artwork will include books, ceramics, graphic designs, paintings, photographs, prints and sculptures.

“Faculty and staff at UW-Stevens Point are not only dedicated educators but are also working artists who display work in solo and group exhibitions around the world,” said Leslie Walfish, gallery curator. “This exhibition reflects the individual interests and skill of the diverse faculty who inspire and teach future artists.”

Free and open to the public, the Carlsten Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Thursday evenings from 7–9 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 1–4 p.m. For more information, see www.uwsp.edu/art-design/Pages/Exhibitions/carlsten.aspx.
