- Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (majors: Philosophy and Religious Studies; minor: Peace Studies).
- Master of Arts from Syracuse University (Religion).
- Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Iowa (Religious Studies with a focus on Modern Religious Thought).
Bio:
Ryan T. O'Leary, Ph.D., is a Wisconsin native and UWSP alumnus, and he is now a lecturer in religious studies as well as the academic coach at UWSP at Marshfield. His studies focus on the intersection of religion, American culture, and political discourse.
When he is not reading, writing, or teaching, Ryan enjoys live music, backcountry camping, and exploring Wisconsin's unique landscape by trail and by kayak. He lives in Marshfield with his wife and three adorable (but sassy) kittens.
