Additional Benefits for Being Activated

If you were in the National Guard/Army Reserve and were activated, you may qualify for additional Financial Aid benefits. To apply for federal financial aid, see the UWSP Financial Aid Office.

We also highly recommend that if you were activated you visit the local County Veterans Service Officer (CVSO) to review all benefits available to you. The CVSO’s are your information hub to all types of benefits. The local CVSO is Mike Clements and he can be reached at 715-346-1310.​
