2024-25 Student parking permits will be available to purchase for ENROLLED STUDENTS on a progressive schedule as follows:

  • July 16, 2024, 8 am:  Graduate students, Seniors & Juniors (>60 cumulative credits)
  • July 18, 2024 8 am:  Sophomores and Returning Freshmen
  • July 22, 2024 8 am: Incoming Freshmen

2024-25 Student Permit cost will be $300 (residential JPQ or W) and $250 (commuter T or Y, no overnight parking).


2023-24 STUDENT PERMITS are available for purchase for Lots J, P & Q (combined JPQ permit) and Lot W (W permit). Interested students are able to sign up on a waitlist, and then Parking Services will award your right to purchase.​ Click the Manage Parking Account tab below to enter the Parking Portal.  Then, scroll down to the Add/Edit Waitlist button to​ add yourself to the waitlist.

*****​NEW Parking option for Students!--Starting in January, 2024--​In a partnership with Sentry Insurance, a long term, off-campus parking lot is now available exclusively for UWSP students, in Downtown Stevens Point. Located just 0.8 miles from campus, directly north of the Portage County Courthouse.  The lot is bordered by Arlington St, Ellis Street, Church Street and Strongs Ave.  ​Sentry Lot to UWSP map (002).pdf  This lot is on the City Bus route--bus pass included in your student fees. All vehicles parking on university property are charged user fees. The significant parking demands on campus mean that the purchase of a permit does not always guarantee a space. The university is not responsible for any damage to a vehicle operated or parked on campus.​
