On your Windows 11 Task bar, search for Control Panel and select the Control Panel app.
In the Control Panel box, select Network and Internet.
Select the Network and Sharing Center.
In the Network and Sharing Center, select Setup a new connection or network.
Select Manually connect to a wireless network.
Enter the following.
Network Name: UWSPWIRELESS (All capitals). Note: eduroam participating institution accounts should enter “eduroam” for the Network Name.
Security Type: WPA2-Enterprise
Encryption Type: AES
Click Next.
Click Change connection settings.
Select the Security tab.
Under Choose a network authentication method: select Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP).
Click Settings.
Uncheck Verify the server's identity by validating the certificate box and click Configure...
Click Advanced Settings.
On the 802.1x Settings tab check the Specify authentication mode and set the mode to User Authentication.
Click OK and close the Settings window.
Click Available to manage your Wi-Fi connections.
Select UWSPWIRELESS then click Connect.
A prompt should appear to sign in. Type your UWSP username@uwsp.edu and your UWSP password.
Note: If you are an eduroam participating institution, connect using your home institution credentials.
You should now be connected to the UWSPWIRELESS network.
