IT Project Roadmap

The IT Project Roadmap provides an overview of all approved IT Projects.

Detailed information on some major projects may be available in the right navigation menu. For more information on any other project, please contact the IT Project Management Office.

Navigating the IT Project Roadmap

  • You may view IT Projects as a Gantt chart style "Roadmap" or a project List. Use the tabs located at the bottom-left of the roadmap to select between IT Project Roadmap and IT Project List.

  • IT Project Roadmap (Gantt chart) tab:

    • Key and Views (slicer) options are available on the left hand side. Key provides a color key and additional information and notes. Views provides the ability to filter by impacted division (e.g. Academic Affairs), project type, and by program or portfolio.

    • Many projects within portfolios and programs are not shown by default. Click the Views button to expand to view all projects. You may then filter by a specific program or portfolio to focus only on the components of that program or portfolio.

Notes

  • Progress bars indicate effort, not duration. Progress bars ahead of or behind the current date are not an indicator that the project is ahead or behind schedule.

  • Future dates are based on the best estimates available at the time the roadmap was last updated and are not guaranteed.

  • The IT Project Roadmap is updated at the start of each month. Please see note at the bottom of the report for the date of last revision.

  • The IT Project Roadmap is not a comprehensive list of all work being done by Information Technology as it does not include requests, tickets, or operations work (such as software deployments or server and computer maintenance). For more information on the difference between projects and request, please see the Projects and Requests page.
