Project Plan

This project is split into 5 components:

  1. define and implement updated support processes, procedures, and needed technology,
  2. rollout of electronic locks on the exterior door so Stevens Point campus academic, administrative, and service buildings,
  3. rollout of electronic locks on the exterior doors of residential buildings on the Stevens Point campus,
  4. reconfiguration of buildings with existing electronic locks to match the new standards, and,
  5. implementation of Mobile Credentials to allow door access using mobile devices.

Mobile Credentials Rollout 

Mobile credentials will allow individuals to use their mobile device to access electronic door locks on campus. The rollout of Mobile Credentials is anticipated during summer 2025.
