What To Do If You Lose Your PointCard
A lost or stolen PointCard in the wrong hands can potentially result in unauthorized access to the electronic locks on university building doors and secured rooms, student residence hall doors, and abuse of your university services.
It is critical that you completely deactivate a missing PointCard -->
-
If you know that your PointCard is lost or stolen and must be replaced, or,
-
Even though you think you may find your missing PointCard.
If you find your PointCard and have not yet replaced it, see the section,
I found my Pointcard, for how to reactivate your services.
Deactivate the card's ability to unlock electronic door locks.
Use
this form to deactivate the card's ability to unlock electronic locks to UWSP buildings and any secured areas to which you have access permissions.
Students:
If you live in a UWSP Residence Hall and need temporary door access until you find your PointCard or can obtain a replacement, please contact your Hall's front desk, RA, or HD.

Students who have added the optional U.S. Bank ATM options
If you believe your PointCard
may be found you should
temporarily lock your U.S. Bank ATM options. If your PointCard is lost or stolen you should
disable your U.S. Bank ATM options. See below.
This does not deactivate the campus services and electronic lock permissions on the card which must be done separately.
--- You believe you might find your PointCard
You should temporarily lock your card's ATM options. Stop by a U.S. Bank branch office or call U.S. Bank at 715-343-2210 (business hours) or 800-872-2657 (after hours) and ask to have the ATM options on the card temporarily locked. You can also lock your ATM options in your U.S. Bank mobile app or in your
U.S. Bank online banking portal.
If you find your PointCard, simply repeat these steps to unlock your ATM options.
--- You know that your PointCard is lost or has been stolen
-
Disable
your card's ATM options as soon as possible. Stop by a U.S. Bank branch office or call U.S. Bank at 715-343-2210 (business hours) or 800-872-2657 (after hours) and ask to have your ATM options disabled for your lost card. Reporting the card as lost through your U.S. Bank mobile app or your U.S. Bank online banking portal also disables your ATM options.
-
Replace your PointCard, then stop by a U.S. Bank branch office with a photo ID
* and ask to have your ATM options activated on your new card.
Disabling your PointCard's ATM options disconnects them from your existing card. You must then replace your card and reactivate your ATM options on your new card.
