Do you perform maintenance or repairs on non-university vehicles or equipment?

No.  The Auto Shop only repairs and maintains University vehicles and equipment.  They are not able to work on privately owned vehicles.

I am a student at UWSP and my car battery seems to be drained. What can I do?

The UWSP Fleet Services office owns a portable battery 'jump pack' which is available to use for trying to start your vehicle when the battery is drained.  They also have a portable air compressor available for assisting with tires that are low on air.  Because of liability issues, the Auto Shop cannot be responsible for this type of assistance.  When you need to use either of these items, please contact Fleet Services by calling 715-346-2884.

I rented an automobile from UWSP Fleet Services and I am having an issue with the vehicle? What should I do?

Contact UWSP Fleet Services at 715-346-2884 or Fleet.Services@uwsp.edu.  If you are unable to contact UWSP Fleet Services, please contact ARI, Auto Resource Inc., a fleet management company.  ARI can be contacted by calling 1-800-CAR-CARE (1-800-227-2273).

How do I request service to be performed on the state vehicle that I am responsible for?
