Welcome to the Assistive Technology (AT) Lab
The AT Lab is housed within the DRC at UW-Stevens Point. The AT Lab's goal is to promote equal access to information and learning for students, staff, and faculty with disabilities, while also focusing on helping students with disabilities foster their independence, improve their educational experience, and prepare them to be lifelong learners.
The AT Lab offers innovative
software, hardware, and technology devices that allow students with disabilities to access and create information electronically, such as screen magnifiers and enlargers, as well as software for screen reading, text-to-voice, and voice-to-text. The AT Lab will also make requests for various
alternative text formats on behalf of students with disabilities.
