Learn to create a difference for your clients through Medical Coaching. Medical Coaching enables clients to develop emotional, mental, and physical resilience in a medical crisis and/or challenge. As the number of people coping with chronic stress and illness grows, we come across these challenges both professionally and personally.

This training will give you the ability to:  

  • Coach clients through a medical crisis and a chronic illness
  • Coach clients suffering from severe burnout and chronic stress ​
  • Use cutting edge coaching techniques 
  • Increase the added value you can offer corporate clients  
  • Become a part of a professional international community 
  • Know how to take your coaching to the next level 
  • Expand the range of your personal leadership 
  • Learn how to become a source of inspiration and influence
The full program includes three blended (live and on-demand learning) modules followed by an internship.  Earn up to 50 CEUs from the NBHWC and/or 50 CCEUs from ICF.​

 Medical Coaching Certificate

The full program includes three blended (synchronous and asynchronous learning) modules followed by an internship.  

Module 1 – Mondays, November 10 - December 1​​, ​2025 | 10 AM CT

Includes 6 prerecorded videos and 4 weekly live online group mentoring sessions.

In this module students learn: 
  • The ‘Four Stages of Medical Coaching’ model 
  • The foundation of the Medical Coaching process and relationship 
  • A practice system to create a sustainable Life Vision and Medical Coaching goals 
  • Coaching methods of working with personal narratives of health and illness 
  • Basic Medical Coaching skills 

This module is approved for the following continued educational units: 

    • ICF – 9 CCEU 
    • NBHWC – 5 CE 
Completion:  
Students are required to write a reflective assignment and receive feedback on it.

Module 2 – Every other Monday, January 5 - April 13, 2026 | 10 AM CT 

Includes 25 prerecorded videos and 8 bi-weekly live online group mentoring sessions.  


In this module students learn: 
  • Advanced Medical Coaching skills 
  • Coaching methods of working with the subconscious mind 
  • Coaching techniques to clear internal and external toxic relationships 
  • Relaxation and Selfcare techniques 
  • How to support clients through anxiety and fear of recurrence
  • The ‘body whisper/body scream’ approach 
  • Advanced coaching practices to update the belief system and clear limiting beliefs 
  • A structure of ‘decoding’ and supporting clients through the ‘Survivorship’ phase 
  • The MCI code of ethics for professional Medical Coaches 

This module is approved for the following continued educational units: 

    • ICF – 23 CCEU 
    • NBHWC – 10 CE 
Completion: 
Students are required to complete 12 practice assignments and receive feedback on each one.

Module 3 – Every other Monday, May 4​​ - August 3​​, 2026 | 10 AM CT 

Includes 20 prerecorded videos and 8 bi-weekly live online group mentoring sessions. 


In this module students learn: ​
  • How to coach clients through chronic physical and emotional pain. 
  • Emotional 1st Aid and grounding techniques 
  • The ‘Medical Coaching Integrative Self-Care’ model 
  • The BTRS model for recovering from chronic stress, burnout and compassion fatigue 
  • Coaching structure to support clients work through health and medical dilemmas ​
  • Coaching techniques to clear medical trauma issues and triggers 
  • Coaching skills to support and coach clients through loss issues 
  • Basic ‘End of Life Coaching’ skills 

This module is approved for the following continued educational units: 
    • ICF – 28 CCEU 
    • NBHWC – 10 CE 
Completion: 
Students are required to complete 9 practice assignments and receive feedback on each one. 

Medical Coaching Internship 2026​

Upon completion of all three course modules, students can begin their internship in Medical Coaching.  

During the internship students are required to implement and demonstrate their abilities to facilitate a Medical Coaching process and master the Medical Coaching skills with the support and guidance of a professional Medical Coaching supervisor.

The internship process includes 30 hours of Medical Coaching with 2-5 clients and 17 personal supervision sessions with a professional MCI supervisor.

​Meet the Instructor

Shiri Ben-Arzi

Shiri Ben-Arzi is a Medical Coach, Medical Coaching Master trainer, Coaching supervisor, workshop facilitator, and international lecturer. She is the founder of MCI – Medical Coaching Institute and the originator of the MCI Medical Coaching model. 

Shiri has been qualified as a Co-Active coach, a Health Coach, ADD/ADHD coach, NLP Master Practitioner, Time Line Therapy Master Practitioner, META Medicine, and ACE (Advanced Clearing Energetics) Master Practitioner.

Her vision is to facilitate change in the world through Medical Coaching & communication skills, adherence, resilience & Medical leadership training programs.

Throughout the years Shiri has worked with international leading pharmaceutical companies, medical organizations, and hospitals including MSD, GSK, TEVA, Pfizer, Novartis, The Israeli ministry of health, and many more. ​

Registration and Payment:

Registration is complete only after full payment has been received. Program fees must be paid prior to the start of the course unless otherwise noted. ​

Cancellation and Refunds

The Continuing Education and Outreach office reserves the right to cancel a program due to low enrollment, severe weather, instructor illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund. 

Please provide an active email address and phone number that you regularly check when registering, so we can contact you if a program is cancelled or rescheduled.

Refunds will be granted if the Continuing Education and Outreach office is notified at least fourteen (14) days prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days before the programs start date. ​​
