Level 1: ​​​From Burnout To Balance


Health and Wellness Coaches have a unique opportunity to address this issue by equipping individuals and teams with the tools to recognize, prevent, and manage burnout effectively.  In this comprehensive 2-hour training, coaches will gain the knowledge, strategies, and confidence needed to deliver impactful workshops and coaching sessions focused on burnout in organizational settings. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of burnout’s nuances and practical methodologies to support clients proactively in preventing and managing it.

Understand the physiological, emotional, and psychological dimensions of burnout and how they differ from general stress.

2. Spotting the Signs
Learn to identify early warning signs in clients and teams, empowering proactive interventions.

3. Burnout Frameworks
Explore the underlying causes of burnout, from workplace stressors to personal resilience challenges.

4. Practical Coaching Tools
Practice using structured assessments, tools, and strategies to build resilience and address life balance.

5. Workshop Design
Develop a repeatable framework for facilitating burnout workshops within organizations.

6. Client Engagement
Discover effective methods for supporting individual clients and teams through coaching sessions and interactive workshops.

​Ellen Kocher is an Economist and Certified Workplace Wellness Consultant. Master’s degree in health and Wellness Coaching, ICF PCC, NBHWC, Health and Mindful Eating Coach, Holding multiple global leadership roles in the W​orkplace Wellness Field. Educated in the USA, Ellen made some major lifestyles change and has dedicated the past 20+ years to walking her talk through workplace well-being, promoting a holistic approach to eating, physical activity, health, resilience, and self-care. Through her company, Whealthness, Ellen has coached hundreds of individuals and groups in dozens of organizations to make sustainable lifestyle changes empowering them to go from knowing what to do to actually doing it! 


Ellen resides in Geneva Switzerland with her husband and 3 children. ​

Registration is complete only after full payment has been received. Program fees must be paid prior to the start of the course unless otherwise noted.

Please provide an active email address and phone number that you regularly check when registering, so we can contact you if a program is cancelled or rescheduled. To cancel your registration, please email ibhwt@uwsp.edu  

Refunds will be granted if the Continuing Education and Outreach office is notified within five (5) days of purchase, provided the program materials have not been accessed.
