Details
This is a one-day leadership camp to provide leadership development to teams of high school students who are actively involved in Educators Rising organizations at their high schools.  Attendees will learn more about teacher education across Wisconsin, in addition to strategies to recruit more students for their local organization.

9:15 am    Opening Session by Leah Luke: What is Educators Rising

9:30 am    UWSP student ice breakers in room CPS 209 / Chapter Advisers meet with Leah in CPS 116

10:00 am  Duff Martin in CPS 323/329 (MBA room)

11:00 am  Breakout Sessions:

  • ​​​Executive session on leadership (students develop and lead)​​

​OR

  • Breakout: General members (students develop and lead)

12:00 pm  Lunch at DeBot

1:00 pm    Career Pathway Session of Choice:

  •   Want to be a teacher

Cancellation Policy
​
Full refunds will be made upon written request to uwspceweb@uwsp.edu up until the registration deadline date. No refunds will be given if the cancellation is received after the registration deadline date has passed. Programs that involve pre-ordering of materials and travel will not qualify for any refund. 

Substitutions can be made at any time, but no shows will be responsible for the full workshop fee.  We reserve the right to cancel due to low enrollment, severe weather, or instructor illness. A refund will be issued under any of these conditions. BE SURE to provide your email address and phone number during registration so that we may contact you if a class is cancelled for any reason.​​
