This workshop will explore, examine, and engage participants in learning related to the human services industry. The focus of the workshop will include an overview of the Goodheart-Willcox publication, Counseling and Mental Health Services. The workshop will focus on building strong pathways in human services that includes a focus on counseling and mental health services pathways, transferable skills in human services, entrepreneurial and career opportunities. The workshop will also include best practices for utilizing the curriculum and activities as relevant resources.​

About the Presenter​

 

Alyson L. McIntyre-Reiger, Director of Advancing Connections Inc and former State CTE Program Leader for Work Based Learning, Family and Consumer Sciences, and Agriculture in Indiana.

Ms. Alyson McIntyre-Reiger, and the Advancing Connections Inc team bring multiple years of experience in Career and Technical Education fields along with project management and strong backgrounds in program and curriculum development and implementation.

Refunds will be granted if the Continuing Education and Outreach office is contacted at least seven (7) days before the start of a class. No refunds will be given with less than seven (7) days notice. Programs that involve pre-ordering of materials and/or travel will not qualify for a refund unless your space can be filled from a waiting list. We reserve the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment, severe weather, or instructor illness. A full refund will be issued under these circumstances.
