Learn how to make decadent desserts that will impress any guest. Class will cover chocolate ganache, chocolate cups, mousse and more. With a combination of hands-on practice and demonstrations, earn how to temper chocolate and make desserts look as amazing as they taste. Class includes plenty of taste testing and recipes.

Susan Turgeson is an Associate Professor of family and consumer sciences (FCS) in the School of Health Sciences and Wellness at UW-Stevens Point. She has been teaching youth and adults essential skills for living throughout her career. Her career and leisure interests intersect in FCS!

Cancellation Policy


Refunds will be granted if the Continuing Education and Outreach office is contacted at least seven (7) days before the start of a class. No refunds will be given with less than seven (7) days notice. Programs that involve pre-ordering of materials and/or travel will not qualify for a refund unless your space can be filled from a waiting list. We reserve the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment, severe weather, or instructor illness. A full refund will be issued under these circumstances. BE SURE to provide your email address and phone number when registering so we can contact you if a class is cancelled for any reason.
