Internship Opportunities

The UW-Stevens Point Museum of Natural History offers several internships to undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of academic and professional fields. An internship at the Museum is a prearranged learning opportunity under the supervision of a Museum staff member or curator. Internships are unpaid, designed for academic credit, and are to provide real-world experience for participants. Succesful completion of an internship may also yield letters of recommendation, work for their portfolio, and important networking contacts.

Who is eligible?

Applicants must be a sophomore, junior, or senior level undergraduate or a graduate student in good academic standing with relevant experience. Applicants must follow all guidelines set by their specific department to get internship credits. Previous involvement with the Museum is a plus.

Application Process

To apply, send your resume and your portfolio, if needed for the internship, to museum@uwsp.edu. Please note: Museum of Natural History remains CLOSED for renovations inside the Science Building, its new permanent location.
