Directions Magazine Geodesign Webinar
Directions Magazine and ESRI hosted a GeoSpatial Webinar entitled, "Explore the Diversity of Opportunities in Geodesign Education." The webinar shared information about the new and exciting field of Geodesign and new Geodesign educational programs, including the collaborative program currently in development between UWSP and UW-Madison.
Geodesign is often called a collaborative, comprehensive, futures-oriented process to address critical land-based planning and design issues. Jack Dangermond, president of Esri, said, "Geodesign is a vision focusing geographic knowledge to actively and thoughtfully design."
