​​​Nitrate in Wisconsin's Public Water Systems

Public water systems are required to submit yearly nitrate samples to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The Center recently updated its interactive dashboard to assist in analyzing and viewing historical data for these systems.  

Features include:

• Viewing historical data for individual wells
  
• Seeing which wells have increasing/decreasing trends
  
• County summaries of public water supply systems with respect to nitrate
  
• Statewide summary of nitrate trends in all public water supply system wells
