Schmeeckle Reserve Interpreters
Iowa Scenic Byways
From 2013 to 2018, the Schmeeckle Reserve Interpreters team was hired to develop interpretive master plans for 10 state scenic byways in Iowa, including the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway. Each plan includes mission, audience, and resource analyses, theme development, and interpretive media concepts specific to the particular byway, while also tying into a larger statewide plan of unified designs and messaging. A statewide summary report was also produced to illustrate the unified design approach.
