Present a Workshop

A variety of one-hour workshops, hosted by the CITL, are offered each semester with emphasis in inclusivity, pedagogy, technology, and resources. Faculty and staff are encouraged to contact the CITL, citl@uwsp.edu, if they would like to present a workshop or have a topic idea.

We welcome any topic that has to do with teaching, such as:

• Sharing a teaching method that you have found makes a positive difference for your students
• A problem or challenge that you faced in a course, and strategies you have adopted to address it
• Strategies that enhance retention
• Innovative assignment ideas
• Methods for efficiently embedding assessment practices
• Results from Scholarship of Teaching and Learning projects
• Open discussions about a teaching-related issue faced by many instructors around campus

The structure can be as formal or informal as you prefer. You may present/facilitate alone, in pairs, or as a panel.
