Mental Health Toolkit

Interested in helping to promote mental health on campus while obtaining professional development to list in your annual reports? CITL is now offering a self-paced Canvas Toolkit for Mental Health in the Classroom.

In this training, you will learn about mental health, mental health challenges, mental illness, and mental illness stigma. You’ll be guided through ways that instructors can proactively address mental health challenges by developing a more inclusive learning environment that supports the mental well-being of students. You’ll receive actionable guidance for recognizing both risk factors and signs of mental health challenges in students, with emphasis on how to respond appropriately to help support student mental well-being. Finally, you’ll be guided to resources for instructors to manage their own mental health and well-being.

Self-enrollment is available for the Canvas Toolkit for Mental Health. Certificates will be issued upon course completion.
